Chairman Dr. J L Raina

Mr Raina is a Chemical Engineer from Jadavpur University and has with him rich experience of over 40 years in the petroleum industry. During his career, he has held important assignments in the oil industry as well as the academia. Presently he is Secretary General & CEO, PETROTECH Society. Prior to joining PETROTECH Mr Raina was Pro-vice Chancellor of UPES, Dehradun, where he gained a good insight into the requirements of the academia. Earlier he had superannuated as CMD, IndianOil Blending Ltd. During his career with IndianOil he has headed various important refineries and the project department in the in Corporate Office and developed an effective partnership team from within & outside associated groups. Mr Raina is widely traveled and has participated in several national and international seminars/conferences and presented papers on various topics. As new Secretary General he hopes to make the Society a very important, effective and strong platform for regular industry-academia interaction.

 

 

Professor J. K. Mitra (born July 1951) is currently the Head & Dean of Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.Prof. Mitra is one of the most sought after consultants in the area of Strategy, Trainer in the area of Team Development, and Scholar in the area of Leadership and Post-acquisition management of Organization. He has been an active researcher and scholar in redefining paradigm in various global organizations and loves rejuvenating old institutions.  Known for very innovative pedagogy and new approaches to teaching-learning experience, Professor’s Mitra’s students are now leading academicians and practitioners in distinguished global institutions.

 

Dr. Radhika Nagrath with a journalistic experience of nearly 10 years is a correspondent for Hindustan Times from Haridwar region. She is also working at Baba Ramdev’s Divya Pharmacy, an ayurvedic medicine manufacturing unit as Deputy Manager. A prolific writer she has contributed to leading newspapers and journals on the issues of environment, art and culture and education. Having spiritual bent of mind she has been writing ‘Speaking Tree’ column of Times of India Haridwar plus since 2011. Her first book, based on research, titled Swami Vivekananda, The known philosopher, the unknown poet has been widely acclaimed and is available on internet. She has appeared on a documentary by Discovery channel on Kumbh mela: A carnival of spirituality as a historian journalist which is telecast across the world from time to time.

 

Sraddhalu Ranade is a scientist, educationist and scholar. Based at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram (in Pondicherry, India), he specialised in physics, mathematics and computer sciences integrating them seamlessly with his philosophical and metaphysical and spiritual studies. He has also been deeply involved in Media development including television programming, software development and hardware design for over 25 years. He has been involved in various kinds of research projects including artificial intelligence based on neural networks, multimedia search and retrieval, image processing and video processing, and assorted simulation tools. He has conducted numerous intensive teacher-training workshops in Integral and value-based education all over India. In the last few years over 4500 teachers from more than 200 schools and colleges all over India have benefited from these programmes. He has also addressed special interest groups including management associations, educationists, lawyers, doctors and scientists worldwide. He believes firmly that India is destined to lead the world into a new paradigm of science and human development based on a new consciousness.

 

Prof. M J Xavier obtained his Doctorate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in the year 1984. He has been a teacher, trainer and consultant for over 25 years. He has authored three books and published more than 100 articles in Journals and Magazines in India and Abroad. His book `Marketing in the New Millennium’ won the DMA-Escorts Award for the best Management Book of the Year 1999. He has taught in premier Institutions like IIM Bangalore, XLRI Jamshedpur and IFMR Chennai. He has served as Visiting Faculty to a number of business schools in India and abroad including The University of Buckingham, U.K., Post Graduate Institute of Management, Sri Lanka, American university of Armenia in Armenia, The Texas Christian University, U.S.A. and California Polytechnic State University, U.S.A. He is currently the K B Chandrashekar distinguished professor of Marketing and the Director of the Kotler-Srinivasan Center for Marketing Research with Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. His research interests include e-governance, subsistence markets and spirituality in the workplace.

 
 

Dr. Sondra SeungJa Doe received her Ph.D. and Master of Social Work degrees from the Washington University in St. Louis in U.S.A. and a M.Sc.Econ. degree from the University of Wales in the United Kingdom. She taught graduate students at the Washington University in St. Louis, Indiana University Northwest, and California State University, San Bernardino. She served as the Baccalaureate Social Work Program Director at La Sierra University and most recently( 2006-2009) as the Director of the School of Social Work at the University of Southern Maine. Until 2009, Dr. Doe served as the Commissioner of the Commission on Global Social Work Education of the Council on Social Work Education in U.S.A. She was awarded a Fulbright research grant and her areas of teaching and research included social welfare policy, social capital theory, community and organization, and spirituality relating to macro social work issues. Currently, she is a professor at the School of Social Welfare of Jungwon University in Republic of Korea. She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Baccalaureate Social Work Education and the Journal of Community Practice published in U.S.A.

 

Rajen K. Gupta (born April 8th, 1950) is presently the Professor and Chairman of the Human Behaviour and Organization Development Area at the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, India. Earlier he has been a professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and a visiting professor at Erasmus University, the Netherlands. His publications include over 80 articles, a textbook on organizational behaviour and a book on ‘Implementing Human Resource Development’ ( Rawat, Jaipur). There is also a collection of his papers on Indian culture and management entitled ‘Towards the Optimal Organization’(Excel, Delhi). He is a Professional Member of the Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Science and a Founder Member of the National HRD Network. Apart from a number of professional affiliations he is presently a member of the international editorial boards of the International Journal of Cross Cultural Management, and Journal of Research Practice.

 

 
Mr. Surendra Mehta

Surendra Mehta is Vice president of Potato chip Association of America. He has been on board of Mexican Food Association, International consultant for Mexican food companies from 1980 to 2005. He invented special process for making potato chips which is utilised by companies across the United States. He is on Board of Directors in Chamber of Commerce for Rosemead, California. Surendra is a regular guest speaker on pranayama and yoga techniques at radio talk show on latalklive.com Los Angeles with 10 million viewers across America and Europe. Besides he is passionate on yoga and since 2001 is engaged in conducting regular yoga workshops for various cities on heart problems, diabetes and Migraine.

 

 
Professor P. B. Sharma

Born in April 1948 at Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh, Professor Pritam B. Sharma graduated in MechanicalEngineering from Samrat Ashok Technological Institute with a Gold Medal of Faculty of Technology of Vikram University in 1969. He was sent by Govt. of India as a National Scholar for higher studies abroad and he obtained his Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Birmingham (UK) in 1974 and received the Post Graduate Prize for being the topper of the Engineering Faculty of University of Birmingham. He later received his Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham (UK) in 1978. Prof. Sharma is a man of vision and firm commitment and resolve to nurture academic and professional excellence in originations and Institutions to which he has associated himself during his 37 years long professional career. He brings with him a combine of the wisdom of an IIT professor, an institution builder and chief executive of premier institutions such as DCE and maturity to excel a university of technology of which he was the founder Vice-Chancellor. He is the former Director of Delhi College of Engineering and currently founder Vice-Chancellor of the Delhi Technological University. Prof. Sharma has been on the Board of Governors of a number of prestigious institutions which include IIT Kanpur, NIT Calicut and Thapar Institute of Technology of Patiala. Prof. Sharma is a well known scholar of Indian Vedic Philosophy and is an exponent of science and spirituality.

 

Dr. Kavita A. Sharma

Dr. Kavita A. Sharma Director of the India International Centre, New Delhi and former Principal, Hindu College , University of Delhi is the author of several books and articles. With her deep interest in Education she has written the history of University Grants Commission entitled 50 Years of University Grants Commission and that of NUEPA . Some of her other prominent books are Byron's Plays: A Reassessment (1981), the Ongoing Journey: Indian Migration to Canada (1997) Queens of Mahabharata (2006), Windmills of the Mind (2006) and Birds, Beasts, Men & Nature in Mahabharata (2008). She has also both contributed in and edited several books, and written articles in journals and magazines on wide ranging subjects including education, literature, women's issues and religion. A Fulbright New Century Scholar for the Year 2007-2008 She worked on Access and Equity in Higher Education in India .

Mr. Sandeep Mishra

Sandeep Mishra is Additional Secretary (Environment) cum Secretary of the Delhi Pollution Control Committee. He also holds the additional charge of Additional Director in the Directorate of Information and Publicity. He is a Scientist by education from IIT Kanpur, a Management Graduate from FMS Delhi and a Civil Servant by profession. He has varied experience of over 20 years in both the Government and the Public Sector Enterprises. Prior to his current assignment he was Private Secretary to Delhi Chief Minister, Mrs Sheila Dikshit for over eight years. He is widely travelled to USA, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, UAE, Nepal, Brazil and Japan.

 

Shri C R Rajan

CR Rajan is a graduate of Delhi University and an MBA from FMS Delhi University. At present, he is the President –Strategy and Ombudsman of the Murugappa group. Rajan has 37 years of diverse experience in many businesses and functions, both in the public and private business space. Started his career and grew with MMTC for close to 20 years. Left MMTC as General Manager in 1993 and joined E I D Parry (India) Ltd to head bio-products division. Subsequently took charge of the Farm Inputs marketing functions of EIDP. He was heading the Corporate and Strategic planning and the marketing functions in the Murugappa Group till March 2004. He then started and headed theManagement Development Centre as its first Director. He is now the President –Strategy. Rajan is on the board of Parry Enterprises Limited. He has attended several medium term diploma and training courses at Indian Institutes of Management, Institute of Foreign Trade and Templeton College, Oxford University. Mr.Rajan is an Adjunct Faculty of IFMR and has also taught International Business at LIBA and conducted sessions at ISB. He is also in the Regional Council of CII, Southern Region and on various national level working groups on WTO. Rajan is also the first OMBUDSMAN for all the Murugappa Group companies.

Dr. Rattan K. Datta

Dr Rattan K. Datta was Adviser ,Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, project Coordinator & founder head of National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting , a center involved in development of global weather prediction models for weather 3-10 days in advance and acquisition , installation & management of the first supercomputing facility in India. During Monsoon Experiment (MONEX-79) as a part of First global GARP Experiment (FGGE) conducted under the aegis of world Meteorological Organization, he was the chief scientist from India to coordinate the scientific experimentation. He was later Director, International Monsoon Data Management Centre. Dr Datta has been an active member of the executive council of SEARCC and is currently Vice-Chairman of TC5 of IFIP (International federation of information processing) a technical body of UNESCO. On 9th December 2008, the 20th Anniversary of NCMRWF, Dr. Datta was felicitated by Ministry of Earth Sciences Govt. of India for his Outstanding Research.

Shri Rakesh Kumar Tandon

Rakesh Kumar Tandon is Managing Director of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. He has handled all issues related to passenger facilitation improving Passenger Earnings, Integrated Train Enquiry System, Improving Advertising Revenue, Mission Zero Q for Ticketing. Headed Ambala Division having a Route Km of 1100 Kms and Staff Strength of 16000, Annual earnings approx. Rs.1200 Crores, Expenditure Rs.380 Crores taking care of overall general management and coordination of various activities like Safety, Operations, Commercial, Maintenance of Fixed Assets and Rolling Stock, Project Planning and execution. Human Resource Development, Industrial Relations, to get optimum results. Research & Development, Planning, Studies on different facets of Railway Work, Representing IR on Quality Council of India, Pioneered Benchmarking Studies, Restructuring & Reorganisation of Railways, Safety Technology Mission, Human Resource Management, Man Power Planning, Budgeting, Training, Computerisation, PMIS development, Industrial Relations, Freight and Passenger Operations Management.

Shri Satyajit Panda
Satyajit Panda is Deputy General Manager (Human Resource) at NTPC-Tapovan Vishnugad Hydro Power Project). He aims to venture into academics with exclusive focus on human value and its interface with various aspects of organization. He has over 25 years of experience in HR, NTPC Ltd. Dr. Panda is a creative writer and writes in Oriya, Hindi and English. His writings include fictions, spiritual articles and management related articles.

Dr. Balvir Talwar is currently Additional General Manager (Corporate Planning & Development and member of management team in BHEL, a ‘Navratna PSU’) and coordinating for Parliamentary affairs, Parliamentary Committees, Government Policy Issues and Implementation of New Capability Building Initiatives in BHEL.he has 26 years experience in coordination and implementation of business excellence initiatives.

 

Shri Rajesh Jain ((B.E ,P.G.D.I.M))

An electronics engineer from D.C.E, marketing degree from Delhi School of Economics and Advance Management degree from IIMB , I am working as Director (International marketing) with total 20 years of experience in corporate world and working with different cultures across globe. Identification and development of new global markets, new projects, with strong customer service orientation led to high growth of business development within organization . Have also worked as Managing director for Jindal online, an ISP and software service start up organization in state of Gujarat. Spiritual orientation , self leadership and aspiration for well being of employees and customers are key belief areas.

 

Shri Krishnakumar Mb

Masters degree with specialization in Parasitology from Institute of Advanced Studies, later conducted Research on structural changes in cardiac proteins during ageing and on the neurotransmitter Concentrations in the circulatory system in relation to longevity. In 1986 started as a researcher for Doordarshan Programs, News and Current affairs, scripted for many series of the national Network Like the Lesser Known Tribes of India, produced and directed some episodes of the famous Science Magazine program ' The Turning Point , the first commemoration film of on the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Chief Bureau and Associate Director for North east News Magazine Shows l- North east File, North east news week and creative consultant for several documentaries. Also was the Producer News and Current affairs for the Business India Television (TVI) and Chief News Editor of CPIM owned Kairali TV (Malayalam).


 
Brahma Singh Ph. D, FNAAS, FNABS, FAFST(I), FVSI, FBVED, born 15-12-1941 in Palari village of Muzaffarnagar district in U.P. In 2001 he retired as Director, Life Sciences, Defence Research and Development Organization, New Delhi. Post retirement, he had been, Emeritus Scientist, DRDO; GM, TDC, Pantnagar; OSD, President House, New Delhi; President World Wellness Forum and Advisor, World Noni Research Foundation, Chennai.
 
Dr. Mario Fernando is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Commerce, University of Wollongong (Australia), and a former Visiting Research Fellow of the Centre for Studies in Religion and Society, University of Victoria (Canada). He has published a book titled Spiritual Leadership in the Entrepreneurial Business: A Multifaith Study (2007), and also published in several peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics. Prior to his entry into academia, Mario held Board level and management consulting positions.
 

Dr. Sunita Singh Sengupta is a Professor of Organizational Behaviour at Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, India. Currently she is a Homi Bhabha Fellow and conducting a global research on “Developing Intra – Psychic Health at Workplace”.  Prior to this she worked at Indian Institute of Management Calcutta as an Associate Professor in the Behavioural Sciences Group for about ten years. Dr. Singh Sengupta has authored ten books and about three dozen articles in several national and international journal of repute. She is a widely travelled scholar and has lectured in various universities and business schools in different parts of the USA, Europe and the UK.
